With a strong vision for the future and a commitment to empowering the next generation of leaders, Hon. Dr. Oledo Samuel announced his candidacy for the 1st National Vice Chairperson of the National Resistance Movement (NRM) for the term 2025-2031.
Under the slogan “The Voice of a Generation, The Hope of the Continent,” Dr. Oledo’s campaign promises to bring a fresh perspective and innovative ideas to the NRM while building on the party’s rich history and legacy.
As a young and dynamic leader, Dr. Oledo has already made a significant impact in his community, serving as the President of the Uganda Medical Association (UMA) and advocating for the rights and interests of medical professionals across the country.
Dr. Oledo’s candidacy is seen as a symbol of the generational shift that is taking place within the NRM, as younger leaders like himself seek to take the reins and drive the party forward into a new era of growth and development.
Despite the challenges ahead, Dr. Oledo remains confident and committed to his vision for the NRM and for Uganda. “I am excited to embark on this journey and to contribute my skills, experience, and energy to the NRM,” he said. “Together, we can build a brighter future for our country and for generations to come.”
