The Senior Advisor on Political Affairs and National Coordinator of the Bazzukulu, Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo, has issued a defiant call to Ugandans, especially the youth, to reject the opposition’s suggestive “protest vote” and “settle for the best” with overwhelming support for President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni in the upcoming 2026 general elections.
Addressing the media and the entire nation today morning from the Office of the National Chairman headquarters in Kyambogo, Kampala, Namyalo warned against what she described as “stooges hiding in opposition political parties” who aim to derail Uganda’s socio-economic transformation journey.
“Basing on our milestones from Omalako Jajja Tova Ku Main and Say No to a Forceful Transition, we again appeal to Ugandans to SETTLE FOR THE BEST by overwhelmingly voting for H.E. MUSEVENI because he is THE BEST,” Namyalo declared.
The outspoken mobilizer aimed dig at opposition figures, singling out National Unity Platform (NUP) principal, Robert Kyagulanyi (Bobi Wine), for promoting falsehoods and tribal divisions for foreign support.
“You promote tribalism, forgetting that our Kingdom, Buganda, and others were revived by H.E. Museveni after they were constitutionally abolished,” she said. “You badmouth the Parish Development Model, which is empowering 38% of Ugandans living in poverty.
”The Chief Muzzukulu, as she is profoundly called, credited President Museveni’s leadership for Uganda’s current GDP standing at USD 49 billion, up from USD 5 billion in 1986, and praised his Pan-Africanist approach that, according to her, has created a stable regional market and championed African economic sovereignty.
She further challenged opposition actors to demonstrate what tangible support they’ve given to Ugandan communities. “If I Namyalo can go out and empower thousands of youths with capital items to start small and medium enterprises, why don’t you use those foreign funded billions to help youth in Busoga, Teso, Karamoja, Longo, Buganda (you claim to love so much yet abusing its administration), and elsewhere than only promoting your family with building multi-billion houses, weddings and all-time foreign vacations?” she asked.
“Do you tell your funders that the Uganda you claim to have no peace is where you have grown from poverty to wealth under Museveni’s leadership?” she further questioned. “Now Kyagulanyi, tell those funders of yours that the Ugandans they left in 1962 deep in illiteracy are now 72% literate because of the strategic educational policies of UPE & USE, and Vocational skills approach.
”The National Bazzukulu Coordinator also paid tribute to First Lady Janet Kataha Museveni, whom she hailed for her “selfless service and motherhood” through her role in the education sector. “We, the Bazzukulu, can now live purposeful lives that contribute to achieving sustainable prosperity,” she said.
With elections on the horizon, Namyalo reaffirmed her allegiance to the President’s legacy and called on Bazzukulu across the country to resist manipulation and propaganda. “We can no more be fooled again,” she said.
“Museveni is a tried and tested leader, a brand owned by not only Ugandans, but East Africa and the entire Africa, and we are therefore rallying Ugandans to SETTLE FOR THE BEST MUSEVENI IS THE BEST.
I thank you all. Mungu Awabariki.
