Hon. Lydia Wanyoto spent the day in Lumumba Cell, Nabweya Ward, Mbale City, supervising and overseeing the electoral process of the Village Structures of the National Resistance Movement (NRM).

The exercise, which saw elections held for various positions, including LC1 Flag bearer, Youths, and Women League, was described by Hon. Wanyoto as a resounding success.
In a display of leadership and statesmanship, Hon. Lydia Wanyoto took the initiative to reconcile and console members who lost in the elections. Each of the affected members was given an envelope containing 50,000 shillings, a gesture that was well-received by the party faithful. This act of kindness and generosity helped to promote unity and cohesion within the party.

In a further demonstration of her commitment to the party and its members, Hon. Lydia Wanyoto shared a meal with over 3,000 NRM party members. This gesture helped to foster a sense of community and belonging among the party faithful, and was seen as a symbol of Hon. Wanyoto’s dedication to the party’s grassroots structures.
