Yesterday the ONC team led by the regional coordinator Mr Buyela Christopher visited the Bugisu zonal industrial hub and shared with the new trainees on mindset change.
The team which is on rampant mobilisation for the bugisu youths symposium met the young people who are on a six month training in the presidential initiative of wealth creation that there is need to be grateful for the chance they have got to enhance their skills and experience on knowledge which is forever and they should thank president Museveni who is not their father, mother or any relative but is paying for them everything.
The ONC team taught these young people on having self esteem, confidence and determination in their war to end poverty in Uganda, Madam Racheal Nabulo have them a story of her past on how she hustled with life and today she is sharing a success story.
She went on to tell them that life has never been any better but temptations should not reign there Future, she said that education is not the only way to success but rather belief and focus.
Another mindset pioneer Namasaba Jalia emphasized focus and behaviour to ensure there success and she called upon the young people to be proud and changed from the first day they entered the gates of Mbale industrial hub because many applied but few were selected and had never paid even a single coin to be picked but it was just lack.
The Buyela Christopher taught them four things (Seasons and opportunities,health, behaviour and national security)
He told them that there is need for embracing new opportunities and forgetting old seasons of being regarded as school dropouts because life has changed as soon they have entered the industrial hub because they can upgrade upto degree Level.
On national security he emphasized need patriotism which is inherited not taught because no one can teach you to love your mother or father but it is an internal and even if we get citizenship in America we shall always be called black Americans so there is Uganda and never will it be changed.
Finally the ONC team requested the management of the industrial hub to use this chance and allow these young ones to come and welcome the president who is there sponsor.
The trainees where so happy as it will the first opportunity for them to see the president for the first time.
