As the nation prepares for the upcoming elections, I, Oledo Samuel Odongo, am honored to announce my candidacy for the position of 1st National Vice Chairperson NRM 2025-2031. Today, I want to share a special message with the people of Uganda, a message of hope, unity, and transformation.
As a young and ambitious leader, I am committed to championing the cause of the Ugandan people. I believe in the potential of our great nation and the resilience of its people. My vision is to empower Ugandans to take charge of their destiny, to create opportunities for economic growth and development, and to foster a sense of community and social cohesion.
As a medical doctor and former President of the Uganda Medical Association, I have seen firsthand the challenges facing our healthcare system. I have also witnessed the dedication and hard work of our healthcare professionals.
As your 1st National Vice Chairperson, I pledge to work tirelessly to improve our healthcare system, to increase access to quality healthcare services, and to support our healthcare workers.My campaign is built on three core pillars:
Empowering Ugandans:
I believe in the potential of every Ugandan to succeed. I will work to create opportunities for economic growth, to support entrepreneurship and innovation, and to promote education and skills development.

I am committed to fostering a sense of community and social cohesion. I will work to promote cultural exchange programs, to support community development initiatives, and to encourage volunteerism and community service.
Strengthening our Healthcare System:
As a medical doctor, I am passionate about improving our healthcare system. I will work to increase access to quality healthcare services, to support our healthcare workers, and to promote health education and awareness.I urge all Ugandans to join me on this journey of transformation.
