Today, Hon. Khalayi Peace, the aspiring woman MP for Namisindwa, attended the Inemba celebration in Tsekululu, Namisindwa.
This significant event, which covers over 20 clans from different sub-counties, aims to initiate newly circumcised boys into manhood, showcasing the rich Bamasaba culture.
The Inemba celebration is a notable social event that attracts thousands of people from across the country, who camp for at least three days to witness the vibrant culture.
This event not only promotes cultural heritage but also boosts local businesses, contributing to the district’s development.
While sharing with the attendees, Hon. Khalayi Peace emphasized the importance of preserving culture, urging the community to keep their cultural heritage alive rather than embracing colonial culture.
