Leaked : Mrs Sheila Akandwanaho puts the Attorney General on the wall to recommend Mbale City land for her over Uganda land commission in mbale.
News reaching our desk indicates that the long awaited land scandal which was brought to the attention of the attorney General by uganda land commission for an opinion has been leaked favoring the first family member (Mrs Sheila Akandwanaho the wife to General Salim Saleh)
This opinion has been pending in the Attorney General’s office because he wanted to neutrally judge this case and he knew the truth of the land saga. This land belonged to Indians who later surrendered it to the office of the president not to mbale district land board.
This clearly indicates that the land belonged to the Uganda land commission.
When this matter was in the office of the Solicitor general the attorney General requested for it and was in support of the uganda land commission not until a one state house official came with new directive that this land should be given to the first family through the mbale city board.
Yesterday one of our contact informed us that the attorney General who had no option had decided to allocate this land to mbale city board in fear of losing his job so that Mrs Sheila Akandwanaho is allocated the land. This is among the few plots of land in mbale which had remained in favor of uganda lands commission and this means that the city is only remaining with the lions park and mbale cricket ground which is also leased out and soon will also be sold.
As the city wants to demolish the church according to a member on the mbale city land board, they have forgotten to view the act which says that for any lease of land the sitting tenant is the first priority. The sitting tenant has spent over 13 years on land.
But why is the first family interested in everything?. When will they stop mistreating Ugandans. When madam Sheila was inquired about this land grabbing by use of the state she denied and at the end of the day she has appeared as the beneficiary of the land by hook or crook.
