President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni is set to embark on a Presidential Parish Development Model (PDM) zonal tour in Ankole Sub Region, starting on February 25th.
This tour is part of the President’s efforts to promote wealth creation and poverty reduction in Uganda through the PDM programDuring the tour, President Museveni will interact with beneficiaries of the PDM program, assess its impact, and provide guidance on how to improve its implementation.
The President will also commission various development projects and meet with local leaders to discuss ways to enhance economic development in the region.
The PDM program is a flagship initiative of the NRM government aimed at transforming the livelihoods of Ugandans through wealth creation and poverty reduction.
The program focuses on promoting commercial agriculture, industrialization, and service provision at the parish level.
President Museveni’s visit to Ankole Sub Region is expected to boost economic development in the area and provide opportunities for the local population to engage with the president and benefit from the PDM program.
