PUNTA CANA BOOSTS MBALE HEROES WITH WARM-UP KIT AHEAD OF URA CLASH
Mbale Heroes Football Club has received a significant boost ahead of their second home game of the Uganda Premier League season against Uganda Revenue Authority Football Club (URA) this Saturday, October 5th, 2024. Punta Cana Bar and Lounge has provided the team with a new warm-up kit for the upcoming match.
Jesca Muduwa, in charge of finance for Mbale Heroes, received the kit on behalf of the team from Punta Cana Director, Juuko Martin, at the bar’s outlet on Majanja Road in Mbale City.
In her statement, Jesca expressed her gratitude to Punta Cana for their support. She also encouraged fans of Mbale Heroes to get involved with the club by forming partnerships and becoming registered members through paid membership.
Juuko Martin echoed these sentiments, calling on sports enthusiasts and well-wishers to support Mbale Heroes, highlighting that it is the only community team from Eastern Uganda in the Uganda Premier League.
He also pledged that the team will be provided with water for both home and away matches and promised to continue seeking more support for Mbale Heroes and other community teams in the Bugisu sub-region.
Mbale Heroes recently returned to Uganda’s top-flight football after 18 years in the lower divisions. They currently sit 12th on the table with three points from three matches.
Their sole victory came last month with a 1-0 win over record champions SC Villa, thanks to a late free-kick from star player Cosia Waiswa in the 85th minute at Mbale Stadium.
