Upholding Unity and Service: The Case for Supporting Hajjat Hadijah Uzieye Namyalo Rather than undermining her trust worthy and voluntary efforts.
In Uganda, Hajjat Hadijah Uzieye Namyalo has been a pillar of positive change, advocating for financial inclusivity and direct aid to benefit the Muslim community during Ramadan. Her efforts to bring Salam bank to Uganda, offering interest-free loans, and lobbying for direct donations from Arabs worldwide have faced resistance from some Muslim leaders who thinks that without them their is nothing the Moslem people can do.
However, the opposition stems from a misguided sense of entitlement rather than Islamic principles. Islam preaches unity, compassion, and service to others, yet some leaders have prioritised personal gain over community welfare. By blocking and decampaigning initiatives like Salam bank and attempting to monopolize aid distribution channels, they undermine the spirit of Islam and alienate those who seek to empower the community.
Hajjat Hadijah’s actions align with the teachings of Islam by promoting financial fairness and providing direct assistance to those in need. Her advocacy for interest-free loans through Salam bank reflects a commitment to economic justice, while her efforts to secure donations for Ramadan demonstrate a genuine concern for the well-being of fellow Muslims.
Rather than viewing her actions as a threat to their authority, Muslim leaders should embrace Hajjat Hadijah’s initiatives and work alongside her to uplift the community. By supporting her endeavors, they can demonstrate a true adherence to Islamic values and foster unity among believers.
Moreover, Hajjat Hadijah’s approach challenges the status quo and encourages transparency and accountability within the Muslim leadership. By bypassing traditional channels and ensuring that aid reaches its intended recipients, she sets a precedent for effective and equitable resource distribution.
The opposition faced by Hajjat Hadijah Uzieye Namyalo highlights a divergence from the principles of Islam among some Muslim leaders in Uganda. Instead of promoting unity and service, they prioritize self-interest and control. Embracing Hajjat Hadijah’s initiatives not only aligns with Islamic teachings but also fosters a stronger and more inclusive Muslim community. It’s time for Muslim leaders to set aside their egos and support efforts that truly benefit the Ummah.
They will never fight someone who believes in God with a beautiful heart like hajjat.
Thanks hajjat for being a hero.youre so inspiring
