This remains a question to us as bamasaba to answer, youths from bugisu are the most proud young people who believes in the cultural heritage (Imbalu) which brings bamasaba together and are youths who are born with hope and love for a bright Future.
85% of youths in bugisu are educated and are still studying as per the global setting.
Youths in bugisu focuses on ensuring a bright future as they always take responsibilities at an early age at times they enter early marriages due to the circumstances which forces them to become hopeless due to failure of getting where to start from or start up capital.
A typical youths from bugisu is also one who has knowledge about production but is not guided on the proper methods of producing on a commercial level. They always focus on substance methods and this makes their dependence on cultural knowledge and limits socio economic development.
A typical youths in bugisu now is one who is used as a political weapon to satisfy the interests of few rich political opportortunists and this has made many of them to become beggars and political prisoners with No hope for a better tomorrow.
The office of the national NRM chairman through the national coordinator Hajat Hadijah Uzieye Namyalo aka chief Muzukulu in partnership with different stakeholders have organised a symposium Code Name Bugisu youths symposium which will take place on 14th September 2024 and the expected chief speaker is HE Yoweri Kaguta T Museveni.
