” Who Told You That We Are Enemies ?” – Todwong ‘ s fires back at lazy talkers .
In a refreshing turn of events, Rt.Hon.Richard Todwong, the Secretary General of the National Resistance Movement party, on Thursday fired back at the lazy talkers & stretched the need for preaching love within NRM . During the end of year prayer event organized by Ms Hadijah, head of the Office of the NRM Chairperson (ONC), Todwong said that, despite the woven propaganda of conflicts between NRM secretariat & ONC, him & Ms Hadijah have always been peaceful workmates .
Todwong’s warning to lazy talkers come timely as the party prepares to organize a structure election in 2024 with attention to unity for success to be pronounced at the end.
He pointed that, the common mission for NRM members is to see Jajja Museveni , once again on the ballot paper. This end of year prayer that has trashed the baseless haters had a sole objective, according to Todwong & the objective was to thank God for peddling with both ONC & Secretariat teams while in discharge of their assignments as provided for in the NRM constitution.
Richard Todwong mentioned that Museveni appoints a youthful carder like Hadijah to listen and invent responses to the challenges faced by the Bazzukulu .
Todwong further highlighted the significance of having someone of his age to mobilize the middle-aged members b’se he can relate with & share numerous experiences for the greater good of consolidating support for Jajja .
Todwong ‘s message challenged the prevalent narrative of political enmity and division between Secretariat & ONC .It encouraged NRM members and Ugandans at large to recognize that differences in strategies and approaches to do work do not equate to personal animosity.
Rt.Hon.Richard Todwong concluded by saying that Secretariat & ONC have a shared purpose & non negotiable responsibility to mobilise, present on the ballot & watch Jajja Museveni declared the President of Uganda in 2026.
